HOW WE ARE ORGANIZED

A Florida limited liability company called The , LLC, governs and manages all activities of The (BOFR) project. A Board of Directors ensures proper governance of the entire project and ensures that funds from donors and sponsors are effectively and properly spent to get our amendments ratified.

In addition, a non-governing Board of Advisors will soon be formed to enable access to the technical and policy expertise at the highest levels in our national life to help underwrite these major changes in the way our government manages and accounts for our people’s money.

Our efforts to advance The BOFR are considerably strengthened by the contributions and capabilities of our two principal partners – Reason Foundation (https://reason.org/commentary/looking-for-process-solutions-to-national-debt-crisis/) and The Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) and their advocacy affiliate, AMAC Action (https://amac.us/about-us/).

John H. Ramsey, founder and managing executive of The (BOFR) Project is also a Senior Fellow of Reason Foundation.

Securing ratification of The will require two sets of activities: education, communication, and analysis, which are eligible for tax-deductible funding from donors; and issue advocacy to build support for an Article V Convention of The States to endorse ratification of The BOFR package of amendments, funding for which is not tax-deductible.

Reason Foundation serves as fiscal agent for all tax-deductible donor funds, ensuring that all BOFR activities supported by donor funds conform to the requirements of Reason’s 501(c)(3) status.

AMAC and AMAC Action provide the grassroots support of their 2.4 million active, patriotic members and their decades of experience managing public policy initiatives at the national and state levels.
